Hello ladies,

Every season, the beauty brand L’Oréal Paris, one of the official partners of Cannes Film Festival, used to unveil a makeup collection in celebration of the event. This year’s new launch was their “Infallible Pro-Matte” collection. This collection consists of foundation, liquid lipsticks, lip glosses, and eye crayons. This is not a new collection and was talked about a lot when it was initially launched. However, it is new for us as it has made its way to India only now. I cannot stop myself from a liquid lipstick and that too matte, and thus, I picked the shade “Plum Bum.”

Maybelline has recently launched their “Superstay Matte Ink Liquid Lipsticks” in India. This range consists of 10 super saturated shades. The colors vary from nudes to reds to pinks to purples. They claim to give an intensely perfect, flawless matte finish up to 16 hours. To put their claim to test, I picked up the shade “Voyager.”

“Maybelline Gigi Hadid Collection” is an exclusive limited-edition collection created and designed by none other than Maybelline ambassador Supermodel Gigi Hadid herself. This complete range features her favorite shades of lipsticks, eyeliners, brow liner, mascaras, primers, strobing cream, and eye shadow palette. This is the one go-to collection for every millennial. Although this collection was launched in the United States a while back, Maybelline brought them to India just recently. That too just only few items from the entire collection! As usual I was drawn immediately toward lipsticks, and I picked up the shade “Erin.”

Sugar Cosmetics has just launched their new line of matte liquid lip colors named “Suede Secret Matte Lipcolour.” This range boasts of a 12-hour stay and comes in a spectrum of highly pigmented shades that complement a slew of complexions. The 10 sensational shades are a mauve nude named 01 Muslin Mauve, a deep rose pink named 02 Plush Pink, a dark raspberry named 03 Velvet Violet, a peachy coral named 04 Crêpe Coral, a blackened plum named 05 Poplin Plum, a terracotta brown named 06 Taffeta Terracotta, a taupe rose named 07 Tweed Taupe, a burgundy named 08 Brocade Burgundy, a beige nude named 09 Felt Fawn, and a red named 10 Satin Scarlet. These shades are a combination of daring bolds and delicate nudes. As I am more into nudes these days, I picked up the shade “01 Muslin Mauve.”

I trust one of the most successful launches of Lakme last year was their “9To5 Weightless Matte Mousse Lip & Cheek Color.” It was Lakme’s first-ever lip color in a mousse texture that is super weightless and can be used as a cheek tint as well. Its 2-in-1 formula made it an instant everyday favorite for the modern Indian woman of today. This range had 10 intense and vibrant shades, and I was addicted to “Coffee Lite” [reviewed HERE]. Now Lakme has expanded their color range with 4 more new shades. So by default, I picked up a shade.
