Continuing with my reviews of Maybelline Fit Me! range, today I am going to share my thoughts on their blush. It is available in 3 shades, which will mostly suit fair- to medium-skinned people. Maybelline has once again conveniently forgotten dusky- to dark-skinned people. Anyways, I picked the shade “202 Medium Coral,” and let’s see how it Fitted me.
Price: INR 400 for 4.5 g [BUY HERE: Maybelline New York Fit Me Blush, Medium Coral, 4.5g]
With Fit Me! Blush you’ll get a lovely pink or rose flush that lets the real you shine through. Brush on any of these shades and you’re ready for a picnic in the park or a night out with your bestie. It gives a natural look and is fade proof. It suits all skin types.
My Experience with Maybelline Fit Me Blush 202 Medium Coral
Packaging: This blush comes in a transparent flip-lid container with a small brush, which is harsh and practically useless. It does not have a mirror. The description of the product, ingredients list, and so on are printed at the back of the case. The packaging is not sturdy. For its higher price, the packaging could have been much better.
Texture: The texture of this blush is very soft. It applies really smoothly on the skin. It is easy to blend and does not look powdery at all. It is not very pigmented, thus shows up like a natural flush of color.
Shade: “202 Medium Coral” is a terracotta or a dusty coral color with very fine gold shimmers. Although it looks like a burnt orange in the pan, it comes out much lighter upon swatching. Shimmer particles are not gritty but very subtle and add a natural glow to the face.
Performance: This blush has a very subtle sheen to it that looks very beautiful and gives that perfect glow to the face. It is so soft and blends easily, but the color payoff is very low. Although this shade suits my skin tone, it takes at least 5–6 swatches for the color to show up mildly on my skin. Go for this blush if like your blush to look subtle and natural, but if you like your blush to be visible and want to use it to contour your cheekbones, this is not the product for you. I do not mind the presence of shimmers as they add a subtle sheen to the face. Another let-down aspect is its staying power. It hardly stays for an hour on a hot and humid day. For a Chennaite, this is such a dud! Keeping on reapplying is something I hate to do. If it needs so much of swiping, then the quantity provided for its price is too less.

No to both! I would definitely recommend skipping this blush as there are quite a lot of decent, budget friendly blushes in the market.
