I recently celebrated my birthday, and I usually gift myself something that was in my bucket list for a long time. So this time, it was Chambor eXtreme Wear Transferproof Liquid Lipstick in the shade 483 and Chambor Orosa Sculpting Eye Shadow in the shade Rose Smoke. I was eyeing on these liquid lipsticks since their launch, but I did not get an opportunity to pick them up until now—better late than never. As I am into more of nude or subtle shades lately, I wanted to pick such a shade from this range as well. It was indeed surprising to see so many shades that suit Indian skin tones beautifully. With 18 impressive shades in line, you are sure to find a favorite.

My Experience with Chambor eXtreme Wear Transferproof Liquid Lipstick 483
Packaging: This liquid lipstick comes in a beautiful transparent tube with a twist-up glossy black cap and silver detailing. Being see-through, it is extremely easy to spot it on our stash. However, the shade that comes on the lips is not exactly that you see through the glass tube. Its navy blue-colored paper carton carries all the necessary information, including the ingredients list. The applicator works well in picking the right amount of lipstick and spreading evenly and smoothly on the lips. Its sleek, leak-proof packaging makes it travel friendly.
Texture: The texture of this liquid lipstick is soft, smooth, creamy, and lightweight. Though it applies creamy, it sets in seconds to a flat matte finish. Once it sets, it is matte, smudge proof, transferproof, and longwearing. It applies evenly and smoothly on the lips. It is neither drying nor moisturizing. The color payoff is incredible. One swipe is just needed to cover up even pigmented lips. Layering has no business with this liquid lipstick. It does not feel heavy or patchy at any point of time, but it highlights every single fine line on the lips.
Shade: “483” is a beautiful pink with coral undertones, but as the shade settles down, it gets one shade darker than the original color. Quite surprising indeed! Though there is no name on the tube for the shade, Chambor official website calls it Rose Boudoir. It is a sort of formal shade and does not look bold on the lips. It is such a pretty, daily wear shade.
Below are swatches of some shades in this range:
Performance: This liquid lipstick is awesomely formulated matte, highly pigmented, and long-wearing one. It does not feather nor bleed, making it a comfortable wear on the lips. This gorgeous shade could easily be one of the best-looking shades on Indian skin tones. It glides on evenly and does not cling on to dry patches, though exfoliating and prepping lips is a must for dry-lipped people. Also a lip balm underneath will avoid the lips getting dry.
This liquid lipstick will stay on your lips until you intend to remove it—no fading, no smudging, nothing. However, if you eat or drink, the lipstick on your inner lips goes off. It is absolutely transferproof unless you have something to eat or drink. The only downside is that it settles into fine lines. After 3–4 hours, it starts to highlight every single fine line on your lips. Though it is obvious only when looked up close, I personally do not like the dead lip look. This no-bother, all-day liquid lipstick calls for all your attention at the day end as it is quite hard to remove. A makeup remover or oil is a must. Finally, exfoliation gets rid of all leftover traces. Overall, it is a must-have shade.
