Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder 330 Toffee Review

Hello ladies,

By now, you would have all known my love for Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation in 330 Toffee Caramel and my hatred for Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder in 310 Sun Beige. Yes, “310 Sun Beige” was the darkest shade launched in India in Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder range, and unfortunately it was not even close to medium skin tone, then think of dusky and darker skin tones. I was very disappointed that there was no matching shade to my favorite foundation. Finally, to my surprise, I spotted a new pressed powder in the same shade and formulation as of my foundation. That is, Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Pressed Powder in the shade 330 Toffee. My joy knew no bounds when I picked it!

Price: INR 475 for 8.5 g [BUY HERE: Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte Poreless Powder, Toffee 330]

Shelf Life: 2 years

Product Description: Ideal for normal to oily skin, this long-lasting Fit Me Matte + Poreless pressed powder mattifies and leaves a natural, poreless-looking finish with long-lasting shine control. Its Perlite Mineral technology absorbs oil to mattify skin, while pores virtually disappear thanks to blurring micro-powders. It is dermatologist tested, allergy tested, and non-comedogenic. It can be worn alone or on top of foundation.

My Experience with Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder 330 Toffee

Packaging: This pressed powder comes in a black square packaging with a clear lid. To differentiate this “Matte + Poreless Pressed Powder for Normal to Oily skin” from “Set + Smooth Pressed Powder for Normal to Dry skin,” the letters are printed in blue. Except for this change, the packaging is the same for both ranges. It has two compartments where the pressed powder is at the top and a mirror and sponge at the bottom. The lid closes with a click, making it very secure to throw in the bag to take on the go for touch ups. The plastic feels a little flimsy. All information, including the ingredients list, is printed at the back of the packaging.

Texture: The texture of this pressed powder is finely milled and absolutely matte. It is meant for normal to oily skin. It is so soft and glides on smoothly on the skin. It does not give a powdery look. It gives a matte, even-toned look. However, it is not a pigmented powder.

Shade: “330 Toffee” is the only shade available in this range. It is the perfect matching shade for Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation 330 Toffee Caramel. This shade would suit medium to dusky skin tones.

Performance: This pressed powder is a matte powder and gives a light coverage. It can be worn alone or on top of the foundation. It works best either way. As its pigmentation is less, it may not hide any imperfections if it is worn alone—of course, it is just a pressed powder and not a powder foundation. Although it is ideal for normal to oily skin, it cannot be classified as a mattifying powder. This shade perfectly matches its complementary foundation shade. However, it does not have that strong yellow undertone as that of the foundation. This powder makes the skin look soft and helps keep the foundation in place. Its finely milled texture gives a smooth and even finish. It is so lightweight and works best for a person like me who top the moisturizer with a pressed powder for that casual everyday look. It has a very low staying power when worn alone. Its coverage is buildable without being cakey or powdery. Overall, it is a good, everyday powder that Fits Me!
