As you all know, The Body Shop Limited Edition Christmas Special is something I look forward to every year. I kind of find this collection season appropriate. “Vanilla Chai” [reviewed HERE], “Frosted Berries,” and “Frosted Plum” [reviewed HERE] are the bath and body ranges of this year’s Christmas Special, and I picked all of them. This range includes the whole line of bath and body essentials such as shower gel, body lotion, hand cream, body scrub, and body butter. Today, let us see about Frosted Berries Shower Gel, which is enriched with cranberry extract from North America.
Price: INR 595 for 250 ml

Product Description: Lather up this festive season with Body Shop’s special edition Frosted Berries Shower Gel, featuring a wintertime fragrance of frosted red berries and creamy vanilla. My Experience with The Body Shop Frosted Berries Shower Gel
Packaging: This shower gel comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a flip-open cap. The actual shower gel comes in a rich red color, brimming to the neck of the bottle. The front label has a Christmas-themed picture with cranberries, whereas the back label sources all the necessary information, including the ingredients list. The packaging is sturdy and leak-proof, making it travel friendly.
Texture: The texture of this shower gel is quite thin and runny. However, only a little amount of product is needed. Thus, this bottle is going to last for longer. The actual shower gel comes in a translucent red color. I have never used a shower gel with this color, and that feeling itself gives me a high. It lathers up very well with or without a loofah. With this shower gel, using a loofah was not harsh on the skin.
Fragrance: This shower gel smells like a mixture of juicy berries and creamy vanilla. It is a festive as well as wintertime fragrance. It smells and feels fresh and heavenly on the skin. It truly holds that fruity festive fragrance. Moreover, the fragrance lingers on the skin for quite a while. I find this fragrance to be the strongest amidst all of their other shower gel fragrances.
Performance: Enriched with cranberry extract from North America, this special-edition and soap-free shower gel will leave the skin fresh and scented with a festive fragrance of frosted berries. Being soap free, it lathers and cleans well. It rinses easily without leaving the skin tight or dry. It is absolutely non-irritating on the skin. It does not rip of moisture from the skin nor dry out the skin. The two main surfactants, sodium laureth sulfate and cocamidopropyl betaine, are so gentle, and thus, this shower gel will suit all skin types. Now coming to its fragrance: Oh My God! It smells absolutely freaking awesome. It literally fills the bathroom with its fragrance and makes the whole bath experience so surreal. It has a strong fruity fragrance, which lingers on for a while as well, but if followed up with other products from the same range, the fragrance will last even longer. Starting the day with such a fresh smelling shower gel awakens the senses. This limited-edition shower gel is priced way higher than other shower gels for the same amount of product. However, the luxury contents associated with it are worth the expense. Overall, it is one of the strongest smelling shower gels, which makes it so indulging this winter and festive time.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase The Body Shop Frosted Berries Shower Gel
If you are someone who are bored of those sickeningly sweet and floral fragrances, this fruity shower gel that is not overly sweet is a welcome change. I love its fragrance and how I wish it was not a limited edition one. Never mind as there will always be new and delicious ones to try!
