When Tresemme launched Botanique, a new range of no-dyes, no-parabens shampoos and conditioners containing a specially crafted blend of botanical ingredients, I wanted to try them. Of the two variants Nourish & Replenish Shampoo and Conditioner with Olive Oil and Camellia Oil for frizz control hair for up to 24 hours and Detox & Restore Shampoo and Conditioner with Ginseng and Neem for stunning and healthy looking hair, I picked the latter. Tresemme claims this range to be inspired by nature and blended by professionals. I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for quite some time now, and I have already reviewed about the shampoo HERE. Now my thoughts about this conditioner!

My Experience with Tresemme New Botanique Detox & Restore Conditioner
Packaging: This conditioner comes in an opaque white plastic bottle with a black and green press cap. How I wish the conditioner is also packaged in dark green color as its shampoo! The front label has prints of the core ingredients ginseng and name, whereas the back label sources all the necessary information. Being sleek, sturdy, and leak-proof makes it absolutely travel friendly. The opaque packaging, however, makes it hard to find out how much product is used. Moreover, it is very hard to dispense this thick conditioner out of the press cap nozzle, because it does not come in an inverted bottle form nor has a flip-open cap. I am quite not happy with this packaging.
Texture: The texture of this conditioner is thick and creamy and is ideal for daily use. It is white in color and has a nice, aromatic, fresh fragrance. Moreover, the heavenly fragrance lingers on the hair for quite some time as well. Its lightweight texture makes it to apply smoothly on hair strands.
Performance: This is a gentle, no-dyes, no-parabens conditioner. It is customized for Indian hair to offer stunning and healthy looking hair. Its core ingredients are ginseng and neem. Ginseng and neem are known to stimulate the scalp, encouraging hair growth and reducing stress. It is an easy-to-use, everyday conditioner. It just complements well with the shampoo. A smaller quantity of this conditioner is good enough. It applies evenly and is effective. It washes off very easily without any residue. It conditions well the hair tips and makes the hair look fresh and non-greasy. It made my hair soft and manageable but not voluminous. It did give an instant healthy look to my hair. There is no hair breakage while applying this conditioner. However, it did not address my hairfall issue nor increase it. My hair looked frizz and tangle free. This conditioner’s claim to give healthy looking hair is true. Another good thing is that it did not weigh down my hair. I trust this is one of the most affordable no-dyes, no-parabens conditioners for color-treated hair. For best results, follow up this conditioner after using the same variant shampoo. Overall, it is a good detox conditioner to use.
