The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream Review

Hello ladies,

As the season has changed, my skin has also changed from normal to dry. Dry skin is not a good sign as it will lead to premature aging. However, I do not want to use a heavy moisturizer as it might make my T zone greasy. So as an effective and easy cure for dryness, I thought of using a night cream. For skincare, I always trust “The Body Shop.” The ingredients of their “Vitamin E” range were too hard to resist, and thus, I picked their “Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream.”

Price: INR 1395 for 50 ml [BUY HERE: The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream, 50ml]

Shelf Life: 2.5 years

Product Description: The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream is a rich yet easily absorbed night cream that protects, replenishes, and helps prevent moisture-loss overnight.

My Experience with The Body Shop Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream

Packaging: This night cream comes in a beautiful pink-colored plastic tub packaging. It has a screw-up black cap. There is an inner lid that seals the product from hitting the cap. Thus, there is no spillage while opening this cream. All product details, including the ingredients list, are printed in the wraparound label. It is indeed a simple but travel friendly packaging. However, I always prefer a tube rather than tub packaging.

Texture: The texture of this night cream is very light and creamy. It is pale pink in color and smells fresh. Its lightweight texture makes it to apply smoothly on the skin and get absorbed into the skin in no time. It has absolutely no stickiness or greasiness. It is meant for all skin types.

Performance: This night cream consists of some amazing ingredients: “Vitamin E” is a naturally powerful and one of the best antioxidants that help protect the skin against damaging environmental elements, “wheat germ oil” is nature’s richest source of Vitamin E and helps to moisturize, nourish, and condition the skin, and “cocoa butter” is an excellent moisturizer that melts at body temperature, leaving the skin feeling soft and supple. A small amount of this night cream is required to apply all over the face and neck. Hence, one tub will last long and justifies its price tag. It is absolutely lightweight and creamy. It applies evenly and does not feel sticky. It quickly absorbs into the skin and does not leave behind any residue. It is immensely hydrating and truly nourishing as the skin feels soft and supple the next morning. I have been using this night cream for 3 weeks now, and I could feel that my skin looks healthy, and there are no dry patches or rough skin. It keeps the skin well moisturized and nourished. The only letdown for me is its packaging as I generally prefer tube packaging for hygienic purpose. Overall, I am quite happy and content with the way this night cream kept my skin this winter.
