Lakme recently launched their Enrich lipsticks in a matte finish for the first time at the most affordable price. It consists of 20 shades, designed to match every skin tone. With a palette of 20 vibrant and trendy shades, there is a definite shade for everyone. Moreover, the shades are specially designed to give an even, luscious coat to the lips. Each of the Lakme Enrich Matte lipsticks gives us long-lasting lip color. I picked up two shades: “RM11” and “WM10” (the shades are only numbered rather than named). As I have already reviewed RM11, let us look at WM10 today.
Price: INR 295 for 4.7 g [BUY HERE: Lakme Enrich Matte, Shade WM10, 4.7g]

Product Description: Lakme Enrich Matte Lipstick covers your lips with pure, intense color in a smooth matte finish. Take your pick from shades that were designed to suit Indian skin tones.
My Experience with Lakme Enrich Matte Lipstick WM10
Packaging: This lipstick comes in a transparent tube with a silver case. It has the same packaging as their Enrich Satin lipsticks except for its silver case in a matte finish. I really appreciate the detailing Lakme has taken up to differentiate their range of lipsticks. The outer paperboard carton is a metallic silver box and contains all the necessary information, except the ingredients list. The cap shuts off with a click, making it travel friendly. It would have been great if the shelf life was printed at the bottom of the tube. Its svelte-pointed tip makes it easier to even apply at the inner corner of the lips. For the price it comes, it is quite a decent packaging.
Texture: The texture of this lipstick is soft and creamy. Unlike RM11, this shade applies evenly and smoothly on the lips. This range consists of mostly dark and pigmented shades. However, they do not show up that pigmented on the lips. Almost 3 layers bring out color intensity. It does not feel heavy with multiple layers but a little patchy. These lipsticks too have the same weird scent as that of their Enrich Satin lipsticks. Lakme, please stop this!
Shade: “WM10” is a mauve wine shade. It is not a full-on wine shade, and I like its mauve undertones. It will suit all skin tones. It is ideal for party/evening wear and for the upcoming winters. This color lifts up any makeup look. This color, like RM11, needs at least 3 layers to show up on my pigmented lips, that too not with its full intensity of color seen in the bullet. This lipstick is not named but numbered in a color-coded pattern. WM stands for a wine shade in a matte finish.
Performance: This lipstick gives a satiny matte finish. Though a matte lipstick, it is quite moisturizing and non-drying on the lips. The vitamin E content nourishes the lips, and olive extracts replenish the lips while hydrating them. The formula is comfortable and lightweight. It does accentuate dry patches if lips are not really exfoliated. This lipstick stays put on the lips very well. It does not crease nor settle into fine lines. The color minimally transfers, which is great. However, it cannot survive food intake; touching up is mandatory. It stays for around 4–5 hours without food intake. It fades little unevenly and leaves behind a tint on the lips. However, it is easily removable. Overall, this is a really affordable matte lipstick available in the market.
