New Garnier Ultra Blends 5 Precious Herbs Oil-In-Cream Oil Replacement Cream

Hello ladies,

Oiling hair is something we have been doing for ages. The practice of mothers oiling their daughters’ hair with utmost love and concern, starting with little scolding for not maintaining the hair and ending with chit-chats, is one of our old Golden Indian tradition. Oh, how I miss those days! Our fast-paced lives need quick solution for everything. There may not be for everything, but there is certainly one for oiling hair. That is, oil-in-cream, an oil replacement cream, which provides the nourishment of hair oils and not the stickiness. Although this revolutionary product is available in the market for quite some time, the latest launch in this category is the Ultra Blends 5 Precious Herbs Oil-In-Cream from Garnier. So, obviously I had to try it 🙂

My Experience with New Garnier Ultra Blends 5 Precious Herbs Oil-In-Cream Oil Replacement Cream

Packaging: This oil-in-cream comes in an eye-soothing, vibrant, light green–colored tube with a golden flip-top cap. I seriously miss the beautiful leaf engraving on the cap that was present in all their Ultra Blends shampoos and conditioners. It comes in an inverted tube form and stands well on its cap. The cap closes with a click, making it travel friendly. The front label has some classy and vibrant prints, whereas the back label sources all the necessary information. It is sleek, sturdy, and leak-proof. The packaging looks simply classy—especially the color.

Texture: The texture of this oil-in-cream is very light and creamy. It is white in color and smells fresh. However, the refreshing smell does not stay for long. There is definitely no herbal smell, which is great. Its lightweight texture makes it to apply smoothly on hair strands. It has absolutely no stickiness.

Performance: This oil-in-cream is a gentle, paraben-free, and natural extracts one. It is customized for Indian hair to offer wholesome, natural blends for truly beautiful hair. It is enriched with qualities of 5 precious herbs such as:

  1. The soothing moisture of aloe vera.
  2. The superior shine from lemon.
  3. The unique conditioning of henna.
  4. The anti-bacterial freshness of eucalyptus.
  5. The anti-oxidants with hair vitalizing properties from green tea.

This oil-in-cream is truly infused with the best of ingredients. It is an easy-to-use oil-in-cream. It can be used exactly as a hair oil, that is before wash, after wash, or overnight. It is formulated without parabens and contains natural extracts. It applies evenly and is non-sticky. It gets absorbed quickly and does not leave behind any residue. It also washes off very easily. This oil-in-cream works best both as a pre-wash and as an overnight treatment for me. After hair wash, I feel my hair shiny and silky. I do not prefer the after-wash method with this oil-in-cream as it weighed down my flat and fine hair. I trust it is a lovely product for dry and rough hair. No hair fall or breakage problem encountered so far. There is absolutely no irritation on the scalp as well. This oil-in-cream’s claim to revitalize and nourish hair with no stickiness is true to its core. I would say that it is best for normal, non-problematic hair as it just nourishes the hair, not repairs. A little goes a long way. It also reduces tangles and frizz in the hair. The major downside is that it contains mineral oil, alcohol, and chemicals. Although it contains 5 precious herbs, it is not completely herbal or natural. Overall, this oil-in-cream is truly an oil replacement cream.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase New Garnier Ultra Blends 5 Precious Herbs Oil-In-Cream Oil Replacement Cream

Yes, I certainly recommend this product to those who find oiling a tiresome and messy job. Generally, hair oils make my flat and thin hair greasy and heavy, but that was not the case with this oil-in-cream, so I will definitely be repurchasing it.
