Product Description: This scrub from the house of Juicy Chemistry is a natural and herbal product, which comes in brown color in cream form and weighs 10 g. This classic combo of chocolate and mint will please the chocoholic in you! It is recommended to store in cool and dry place.

How to Use: Take a small quantity of the scrub with your ring finger, and massage it onto the lips gently for 1–2 minutes. Wash off and follow up with lip butter/balm.

 

My Experience with Juicy Chemistry Choco Mint Lip Scrub

Packaging: This lip scrub comes in a transparent plastic tub packaging. There is a protective inner lid that seals the product from hitting the cap. All product details are printed at the bottom of the tub. It is not very travel friendly as there is leakage of oils in the product.

 

Texture: This lip scrub has a granular texture. It comes in chocolate brown color. It definitely smells full of mint and chocolate. It has a paste-like consistency with visible organic sugar crystals. It spreads easily on the lips. Once rubbed on the lips, sugar melts down, and the scrub turns to a balmy consistency.

 

Performance: This lip scrub is a mix of all good ingredients such as beeswax, natural vitamin E, essential oils, shea butter, cocoa powder, and organic white sugar. However, the main components are choco and mint. Choco powder has powerful antioxidant properties and helps to heal damaged skin, whereas peppermint essential oil has astringent properties and is an effective anti-fungal agent. A tiny bit of this scrub goes a long way. I gently massage this scrub on my wet lips to remove dead skin. It makes my lips clean, soft, and smooth. I could feel the infusion of essential oils making my lips hydrated and plump. The granules are not at all harsh on the lips. I advise you to use this scrub during shower as the product spreads all around your lip area and make it oily. Once applied, it gives a sweet sugar and tingling sensation. It does treat the lips for a conditioned and revitalized feel. It only takes a few minutes to scrub your lips, so doing it once, or even twice, a week is very realistic. Using this lip scrub regularly will make you forget chapped lips. It is a Holy Grail product for matte lipstick lovers like me. Moreover, on good scrubbed lips, lip cosmetics will adhere longer.
