Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder 310 Sun Beige Review

Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder 310 Sun Biege

Hello ladies,

After reviewing Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Foundation in 330 Toffee Caramel, I am going to share my thoughts on their pressed powder today. I am more of a pressed powder person rather than a foundation person as I love its light coverage and lightweight texture. It is the ideal product for everyday casual looks. So when Maybelline came up with a new launch in this category, I picked the shade “310 Sun Beige,” believing that it would Fit me.

Product Description:

With Fit Me! Pressed powder, you can make visible pores and shine disappear while still getting perfect buildable coverage. It comes in with a mirror and a sponge for easy application. The pressed powder glides on easily and is perfect for a light coverage.

My Experience with Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder 310 Sun Beige

Packaging: This pressed powder comes in a black square packaging with a clear lid. It has two compartments where the pressed powder is at the top and a mirror and sponge at the bottom. The lid closes with a click, making it very secure to travel with. The plastic feels a little flimsy, and for its higher price, it is cheap looking. All information, including the ingredients list, is printed at the back of the packaging.

Texture: The texture of this pressed powder is finely milled and packed with microshimmers in it. Yeah, you heard it right: shimmers in pressed powder! It is more like a translucent powder. It is meant for normal to dry skin. It does not blend well and gives a powdery look. Its overshimmery nature gives it a highlighter feel rather than a pressed powder.

Shade: “310 Sun Beige” is the so-called darkest shade in this range, but ironically it is also white. How could Maybelline falsely claim that there are complimentary shades with foundation? This shade is in no way match to their foundation in 330 Toffee Caramel. I am very disappointed with the shades as they are just too light for Indian skin tone. Every shade is going to give a white cast.

Performance: This pressed powder is mainly a translucent powder with shimmers reflecting light and giving a subtle sheen on the skin. It is a sheer compact powder. It works well only as a setting powder. Do not be misled by its name as pressed powder and expect a light to medium coverage. If the shade matches you, then you are likely to get a radiant-looking skin, else you are all likely to look like a disco ball. For a person like me who tops the moisturizer with a pressed powder for that casual everyday look, this is not the product you want. It is not mattifying as claimed. It has a very low staying power. Overall, it is a completely failed product from Maybelline.

Pros and Cons of Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder 310 Sun Beige

Skipping the pros and cons of this product as I do not think this range of pressed powder has a match for any Indian skin tone, unless you are super pale. I certainly did not find a match for me in this powder. It being so white just does not make it something you would want to buy for yourselves.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder 310 Sun Beige

No to both! This pressed powder did not Fit me at all.
