My Experience with L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Collection Star Lipstick—Barely Moka
Packaging: The lip color comes in a classy golden glossy packaging with a shade color button, helping to pick the shade easily. The shade number and name are printed at the bottom. The cap shuts with a click and does not break or open in the bag. “Barely Moka” is inspired by Gong Li and has her signature on the packaging. Its svelte-pointed tip makes it easy to apply even to the inner corner of the lips and also to draw smoothly on the Cupid’s bow.
Texture: The texture is very creamy and glides smoothly on the lips. This shade is pretty well pigmented. It covers up my pigmented lips in just one swipe. It gives a glossy finish.
Performance: This lip color is a nutty brown shade. It is a gorgeous neutral shade and has a hint of orange to it. Being glossy and pigmented, it makes my lips look voluminous. This shade will look different on various skin tones: on fair skin tones, it may look more of 90s brown, whereas on medium skin tones, it may be their perfect nude color. For me, it is my perfect MLBB shade. The lip color glides like butter and does not settle into fine lines. The product feels soft and nothing on the lips. It does transfer but not crazily like other creamy lipsticks. It did not bleed nor feather at all. In fact, this lipstick feels a bit like balms, as it is quite hydrating on the lips despite how it looks on the tube. It does not accentuate any dry patches. It is indeed a pretty, wearable office shade. This lip color lasted for only 3 hours on me: the initial sheen faded off first and then there was only a bit of staining left on the lips. Overall, I am quite happy to add this fresh nude to my collection.
